Stop, relax and enjoy Lake Huron beauty. Located two and one half miles outside DeTour Village along M-134, this turnout offers parking, both sandy and rocky beach areas, and plenty of seclusion.
Olmstad Bay Turnout Overview

On the north end of Malette Park you will find this scenic turnout with a viewing platform overlooking Olmstad Bay and St Mary’s River, a picnic table with a charcoal drill, ample parking plus an information booth offering maps and flyers about DeTour and surrounding communities and eastern upper peninsula.
Public Boat Launch Overview

Located on the south end of Malette Park, family’s can enjoy a day of boating, swimming, and picnic fun; all from one sweet spot. This quiet put-in location is used by many locals for a day of fishing or channigans on their pleasure boats. The ramps are open to the public, and provide an excellent spot to launch your small boat.
