The Cranberry lake trail is open to two-way traffic during the spring summer and fall, and is a snowmobile trail during the winter season.
This 8 mile trail runs from South Caribou Lake Road, just west of DeTour Township Park on Caribou Lake and runs west to M48 just north of M134, with a one mile spur taking you east to M134 and Dunes Beach on Lake Huron.
This trails boasts a bridge at Cranberry Lake Dam and a bridge over Albany Creek, both good fishing spots, and excellent stopping points to enjoy nature and your traveling companions. You are also able to hang out on Dunes Beach along Lake Huron where you can enjoy long sandy beaches seemly to yourself.
